My name is Johan Steinberg, I am 30 years old and I am a master student in 'IT -- design, use, interaction' at the University of Oslo. I have previously worked as a web developer and have a bachelor's degree in IT from the College of Oslo and Akershus. As a web developer, I was very interested in front-end development and universal design. Therefore I decided to take this master. This has led to that I have become interested in technology, society, and ethics, and Participatory Design.
This is compined with security in my thesis as I am researching a secure and universally designed log in for a closed social network in my project for young patients. As I am usin a Participatory Design approach, the young patients have to be a part of the design process. I am looking forward to hearing their opinions and suggestions regarding passwords and authorisation methods - perhaps they would like something new?
